This month, WashU IT will begin providing the WashU research community with access to GPT-Rosalind, OpenAI’s frontier life science research model, provisioned to WashU in a dedicated beta workspace.
GPT-Rosalind works in tandem with a Life Sciences Research plugin and a large library of skills that connect to public scientific databases, including UniProt, GWAS Catalog, RCSB PDB, ChEMBL, and gnomAD, providing researchers with powerful new AI capabilities to support their work.
Researchers who receive access will also receive onboarding instructions and a guide to help them get started, including how to sign in, select the GPT-Rosalind model in ChatGPT and Codex, use the life sciences skills, and follow responsible use guidance.
