The Easiest Way to Access WashU Services and Systems
ONE is a portal managed by WashU IT that gives the WashU community a quick, easy shortcut to university services and systems such as WebSTAC, Canvas, Workday, Box, Outlook, and more from a single, safe source.

Accessing One.WashU
Who can use One.WashU
- Anyone can access One.WashU.edu.
- WashU Faculty, Staff, and Students can unlock more benefits by logging in using their WashU Key and DUO two-factor authentication.
- Customize your experience by favoriting and organizing Tasks.
- Reduce the number of times WashU Key users need to verify their identity with two-factor authentication (2FA) via Duo.
How to access One.WashU: One.WashU.edu is available through any web browser.
- Supports the latest versions of all browsers and the prior two versions. Cookies and JavaScript should always be turned on, and the Compatibility View in Internet Explorer may not work with ONE.
Resources for ONE Users
- To request a new Task or Task Center, complete the ONE.WashU Task/Task Center Creation form in ServiceNow.
- To request an announcement to be added to ONE, complete the ONE.WashU Announcement form in ServiceNow.
- For any other questions, complete our consultation request form in ServiceNow.
Publishers are Task owners who can create and edit Tasks and post announcements through them.
To become a publisher,
- Complete the “Request One.WashU.edu Publisher Access” form in ServiceNow.
- Complete ONE Publisher Training (Workday).
- Begin publishing!

No. When accessing password-protected Tasks from ONE outside of the campus network, you will still be required to complete two-factor authentication (2FA) with Duo.
Logging in to One.WashU.edu with your WashU Key reduces the number of times you will be prompted for 2FA.
Not all Tasks on ONE require 2FA.
You will only need your WashU Key when you click on a Task that requires it. ONE is accessible to the public and not all Tasks will require log in with a WashU Key.

Anyone can request an announcement to be made through a specific Task in ONE by completing the ONE.WashU Announcement form in ServiceNow. However, only Publishers can add the announcement to the Task.
Global announcements can also be requested through the ONE.WashU Announcement form in ServiceNow.
The “Most Popular” category ranks Tasks based on how often they are opened by ONE users. These metrics are typically refreshed every 7 days.
No, it is not mandatory; however, usage is highly recommended for a smoother, safer, and more customized user experience.
