Microsoft 365 at WashU

A suite of Microsoft 365 applications is available to all WashU faculty, staff, and students, supporting teaching, learning, collaboration, and administrative work.

This includes the most up-to-date versions of widely used applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook, which are available as both web-based and desktop applications for eligible users. Desktop apps can be installed directly on supported devices, while web versions are accessible through a browser.

The Microsoft 365 subscription also includes applications only available on the web such as Forms, SharePoint, Planner, and additional tools designed to support communication, file sharing, project coordination, and workflow management.

Accessing Microsoft 365 Applications

Users can visit the Microsoft Apps website and log in using their WashU Key to access all available online applications.

In addition to web-based tools, desktop versions of select Microsoft 365 applications are available, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, providing users with flexibility to work online or locally.
